The commemoration of All Saints Day is a rich tradition in New Orleans. As the city prepares for this year’s event, I thought it noteworthy to recognize that the historical Holt Cemetery, adjacent to Delgado’s City Park Campus, has implemented several very nice improvements. New street signs, repaved roads, lamp posts, an American flag, lawn maintenance, renovated office, and a lovely new entrance gate adorn this resting place of many New Orleans residents as well as some well-known folks, too, like jazz legend Buddy Bolden. You can read more about Holt Cemetery in one of our past blog posts here.
